Hands-On Craft Workshop: Worldbuilding 101

Writing and worldbuilding aren’t the same process, and knowing when (and how) to build makes all the difference. This workshop helps you create a rich, believable world before you draft, so you already know the answers to key questions—history, culture, logistics, and more. From creation myths to everyday details, you’ll leave with practical tools and guided questions to bring your world to life.

Point of View Pitfalls (and How to Avoid Them)

Struggling to choose the right point of view—or worried yours isn’t working? POV is one of the most powerful tools in a writer’s toolkit, but it’s also one of the easiest to mishandle. In this workshop, we’ll break down the most common POV styles, explore their strengths, and tackle the pitfalls that weaken immersion. Through examples and hands-on exercises, you’ll learn how to lock in a consistent POV, strengthen your narrative voice, and keep readers fully inside your story from the first page to the last.
